Countdown is tied to the active competition cycle in Skill-Age (ceremony/cycle end date).
To support school-age children in their education through self-participatory crowd funding — encouraging academic excellence and talent development, while promoting community participation in child education sponsorship.
Three stages from registration through the award ceremony — design narrative per organisational brief.
Begins at registration. Parent registers child for ₦2,000 and becomes official sponsor. Sponsor canvasses votes; votes carry monetary value at a specified benchmark. Open to the entire community through end of Month 6.
Minimum 2,500 votes to qualify. Tracks: Agro Skills, Tech Skills, Micro Economy Skills. Not all contestants proceed — Stage 2 is a qualifier.
Award Ceremony day: General Academic Knowledge exam and Exhibition of Special Skills. All three stages determine the Skill-Age Child of the Year — a formal title distinct from prize money.
